Insurance Agencies
AI strategy and implementation for independent agencies, from people who run one.
Most AI consultants would spend years learning how an agency actually works: carrier appointments, submissions and remarketing, AMS data, carrier downloads, certificates, loss runs, ACORD forms, producers and CSRs, wholesalers and E&S markets. We work inside it every day. We map where your team’s hours go, decide which steps belong to people, software, or AI, and build the ones that pay for themselves, with GLBA-conscious controls and numbers you can check.
Built inside an operating agency
WaiveFlow’s founder is a partner at The Way Agency, an independent insurance agency in Kentucky, and built its operating platform: carrier download (IVANS/AL3) ingestion, AMS sync, call and text logging, e-signature with ACORD forms, lead intake, and servicing pipelines. When we tested that platform’s carrier-download parsing against the agency management system, effective dates, expiration dates, and line of business matched on all 585 comparable policies, and the same test found a real premium defect worth fixing. Compliance: Implementations are designed to meet GLBA Safeguards Rule requirements for customer information protection, with documented security controls and breach notification procedures.
Where the Gaps Are
Re-keying the same client data into raters, carrier portals, and the AMS
Service requests (ID cards, certificates, endorsements, billing questions) arriving by phone, email, and text with no single queue
Commercial submissions stalled on missing information, loss runs, and back-and-forth with markets
Renewals and remarketing tracked in spreadsheets and memory, so at-risk accounts surface too late
Carrier downloads that never fully reconcile with what the AMS says
Staff pasting client data into AI tools with no usage policy, under GLBA obligations
Where agencies usually start
Service Request Triage
Classify inbound service requests across email, phone, and text. Route the routine ones (ID cards, certificates, billing questions) with drafted responses, and keep coverage changes and claims with a licensed person.
View pack detailsSubmission Intake & Missing-Information Detection
Extract applicant, exposure, and prior-carrier data from applications, ACORD forms, and loss runs, and flag what is missing before the submission goes to market.
View pack detailsRenewal & Remarketing Queue
Surface renewals by premium change, claims activity, and account risk well ahead of expiration, and draft remarketing packages for producer review.
